Cedar Park Auto Body is a “Green Shop”. Our equipment and products are as environmentally safe as today’s technology can make them. Here are some of the things we are doing to assure that our business is helping to protect the environment:

» Our Safety-Kleen Minimizer removes paints from paint thinner so that we can recycle the paint thinner, cutting down on hazardous wastes.
» As the world leader in automotive finishes, PPG has the global resources to offer the latest coating technologies in a full range of systems and products to meet the needs of just about any paint application and environment.
» We have established an aggressive recycling program to ensure that everything possible goes back into use and not back into the environment. We have partnered with Metalpro, Inc of Springfield Virginia to recycle oil filters, metal, plastic, and tires from the auto shop.
» We also have arrangements with AAA Disposal, Inc. to recycle cardboard and other packaging materials from vehicle parts and other shop supplies. In the front office we ensure that all employees recycle paper, cans, and bottles and we have collection boxes conveniently located for use by both staff and customers. By separating recyclables we have reduced weekly waste from 16 cubic yards to only 6 cubic yards.
